Re: Side Poking...

The fantastic thing about Kydex is that if you find the sweat guard is a bit too high, or that it seems to be poking you in an odd or uncomfortable area, you can easily remove sections of the material using snips/file/sandpaper/dremmel/etc... and reshape it it exactly what fits your needs. The only caution is that it is MUCH easier to take material off than to put it back on. Remove with care...

Other than that, this is a great IWB holster that fits the role very well. Good rounded corners don't wear out clothing. Quality straps and good retention adjustment ensure proper grip on the weapon. Overall a very nice product, and at $20-25, it's a high-value product as well.

Well done Blade-Tech

I got mine today. Gun fits just as it should. It was poking me in the side at 5 o'clock position so I am going to move it around to another position on my belt and try it. Good holster for the price.

It's a great little holster. I bought it as a temporary solution until I got a custom made holster, but have never found the need to replace it.

I've been considering this holster, but I've found few reviews/opinions on it. The few things I have heard are positive, sounds like a great, low-cost choice. Thanks for the review!

It would be better as well to keep with you the copy of the permit to carry the gun. Even a photo copy would do. We can never know when we will need it.

You are very thorough. Thank you for the reminders and the tip you gave. I will take note of these things.

The latest guidance from DPS is at <a href="http://www.azdps.gov/Services/Concealed_Weapons/Permits/Renew/" rel="nofollow">THIS LINK.</a>

Basically, they will send you the application 90 days from expiration. You send it back with the check and they send you a new permit. The refresher class and fingerprints are no longer required!

Hey Matt,

Thanks for clarifying. I knew there had been a change but did not understand it. Do you know what I have to do to renew my CCW? I look forward to taking one (or more) of your classes.
Thanks!
